My father and I purchased this home as an investment at first, but as the buying process went forward I began to fall in love with the place. It was in bad shape when we got it, but now after 5 months of work I've made the inside as beautiful as the the view of Silver lake Park is from the bay windows. There is still more work to be done. As of right now, there is a brand new state of the art kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a granite countertop all on top of 18" tile floors. This is accompanied by an island with 3 stools to make it an eat in kitchen. also in the kitchen, sliding doors that will soon lead to a deck (not built yet). There is an open floor plan so the dining room is located directly next to the kitchen with brand new hardwood floors. This house was built in 1901 and the previous owner was a carpenter, so there was beautiful trimwork around the windows which i restored to keep the charm. Same thing goes for the living room. Brand new hardwood floors and beautiful trimwork throughout. The upstairs i left alone because im trying to save money to do an extension to make a 3rd bedroom as well as turn one of the bedrooms (the one with the view) into a master along with a master bath. When I am done renovating the house, it will have 3 bedrooms including one master with cathedral ceilings. As well as 2 1/2 baths.
