This section of Arthur Avenue between Ravenswood and Clark has a wonder diverse mix of families. Some people grew up on this street and others are transplants from other states, countries and other parts of Illinois. We have three different block parties annually, summer, fall (around Halloween) and a Holiday Party. There are wonderful restaurants and bars within walking distance, or it's easy to jump on the 22 Clark bus and step off in trendy Andersonville. The red line Loyola stop is a 10 min walk. This neighborhood is very involved in CAPS and is a safe street. Everyone watches out for everyone else. It is a great community of people to live with. The majority of the children on the street are in private or out of district schools.
