It is a 10-minute walk to a trolley stop, and about a 20-minute walk into the heart of Old Town or Mission Hills. Amenities include an in-unit washer and dryer, AC and heat, dishwasher, and a large outdoor patio with greenery. Water and trash are paid by the landlord. Internet runs about $38 each per month, and SDG&E is usually around $30 each per month. There is one dedicated off-street parking spot available for the incoming roommate. Your room is large and very private, and can easily fit a queen bed with nightstand, dresser, desk and a chair. Good size closet offers plenty of room for clothes and storing additional items. You will share the upstairs bathroom with one other roommate. Your window looks out to the patio area and greenery. About us: female, 34 and 39, fully employed and have both lived here for a few years. We treat the home as a peaceful place where we can recharge after the workday, and most often keep our social lives outside of the home although the occasional friend might stop by from time to time. This is a non-smoking, drug-free home and we aren't party people. One of us works at a local university on a hybrid schedule (some days in office, sometimes from home). The other works in marketing at an office 5 days/week. We prefer a roommate without pets but may be open to considering someone with a very quiet, well-behaved animal.
