This neighborhood is outside the city limits of Rockaway Beach and is in an area known as Barview-Watseco. We have a small water and sewer district. The neighborhood is primarily residential with a large, established private camp bordering the subdivision. Camp Magruder often hosts school children for outdoor school. Lots of upper end homes here and there are a few homes that are in vacation rental service. Smith Lake is really close. Lots of people in the neighborhood like to walk on the beach every day and there is a very friendly and helpful atmosphere here. It is a low-traffic area with lots of trees.
