The original home was built in 1960. It suffered a house fire in January 1997 and was destroyed. It was rebuilt and finished in August 1997, with many additions including a laundry room, office space and family room. Two bedrooms also gained walk-in closets. The carport was also enclosed into a one car garage. The kitchen was greatly remodeled with upgraded appliances and lots of cabinets, including a large pantry.
