    The sellers have lived in this house for approximately 50 years and have done some awesome updates in that time! This house has the character you would find in a home built in the 1920s! Hardwood floors, french doors, formal dining and so much more! They screened an 18x8 front porch complete with pillars which gives this space just the right amount of privacy. The driveway was updated from gravel to blacktop and includes a daylight-to-dusk light on the side of the driveway by the basement steps as well as a motion detector to the north side of the house. When they updated the exterior of the house they asked for the very best aluminum siding which has stood the test of time! They remodeled and expanded the kitchen and added a spacious family room which includes custom-made wood blinds and a bay window to the back of the house. This room overlooks a fenced yard complete with garden space and a patio. The kitchen was updated and has a newer range and range hood. It also has a garden window above the sink and beautiful granite countertops. Plank flooring was added to the upstairs bathroom. Ceiling fans were added to the family room and master bedroom. The roof, furnace, air conditioning, and 40-gallon hot water heater have been updated. The electricity was updated to 200 amps. A large and very nicely finished full bath with a step-in tiled shower was added in the basement. Nearly all of the windows have been replaced mostly with vinyl and a couple with wood. The owners have added new water and gas lines to the house as well as outside access for plumbing cleanout. There are newer steel doors in the kitchen and basement as well as newer storm doors at the front of the house and kitchen door. There is a walk-up floored attic off of the office upstairs where the owner added 2 thermostat-controlled exhaust fans. The garage has a new automatic garage door opener. They replaced the metal roof on the front porch with a high-grade rubber material.
