This bungalow, 1746 29th St. (each has its own address), is one of 6 completely freestanding casitas at the property. It shares no walls and sits above the street somewhat for excellent privacy. A large solar power array is installed at the property, so the electrical bill is low (SDG&E's minimum fee of about $12/month still applies). Free daytime electric car charging (Level 2) available. We do our small part for renewable energy despite what moron might be occupying the white house. Wifi is provided at no charge (no uptime guarantee), connected via AT&T fiber optic cable. Fastest level available. You are of course welcome to get your own internet, if desired. There are 10 bungalows total, Nicely landscaped common areas, some free, first-come off-street parking (almost always available), shared patio area, and friendly neighbors. Only 1.5 blocks from Balboa Park. Walkable to "downtown" Southpark, the Harland tasting room, the Grape St. dog park, etc. etc. Storage garage (6' x 12') available for $100/month extra -- suitable for bikes, surfboards, etc. The storage garages are newly-built and have roll-up doors. You supply the padlock. Card/coin laundry room on-site. Newer Speedqueen machines. Purified water available at no charge from the airport-style drinking fountain in the laundry room -- fill up your bottles and pitchers for much better tasting water, anytime. There is also an ice machine for unlimited free ice anytime you need it. Nice commercial Manitowoc machine. No pets preferred, but considered (pet rent and/or deposit apply). These bungalows are ideal for a single person. Transit: South Park is one of the most bike-friendly neighborhoods in San Diego, and you can get most places you'd want to go on foot or by bike. There is also the #2 bus line nearby, which makes it super convenient to get downtown for a Padres game etc. Parking is generally very easy on the street, as there are no other apartments in the area. Owner does not live on-site, incidentally, but visits from time to time. features: - hardwood floors, original oak - new stainless steel gas stove - newer stainless steel fridge - built-in cabinets with glass-doors - card/coin laundry on-site - some offstreet parking, plenty of street parking - quick access to 94 and I-5 and downtown - cool neighbors - nicely landscaped/maintained common areas - fruit trees (lime, lemon) & hot pepper plants -- jalapeno, habanero - great proximity to Balboa Park and all the fantastic restaurants & shops South Park has to offer -- Buona Forchetta, Kindred, Mothership, Fernside, Harland, etc. etc. - exceptionally cool landlord :) - you will get your deposit back if the place is well cared for and everything is 100% moved out at the end of your lease. Renter's insurance is required. It's cheap. prohibited things: - smoking (YOU WILL LOSE YOUR DEPOSIT ENTIRELY) - satellite TV (they drill holes in my buildings and are hideously ugly) - subletting/vacation renting - disturbing neighbors IF YOU REQUEST A TOUR, TELL ME SOMETHING ABOUT YOURSELF OR WHAT YOU'RE LOOKING FOR SO I KNOW YOU'RE ACTUALLY A REAL PERSON.
