Although Greene County lists this property as having been built in 1900, a local historian told the current owner that he believed the home was originally built as "a Railroad House" in 1853, the year that Antioch College was founded, and the home's overall sturdiness and location would certainly support that information. Three bedrooms; two full baths; two separate decks plus the original front porch facing the Little Miami Scenic Trail. Numerous changes and updates over the past twenty years include adding, enlarging, and/or replacing all windows; raising door frames and removing the wall between living room and sunroom; and creating a pass-through from dining room to kitchen. Living room features a wood stove, added in 2010. Kitchen has Italian tile added in 2008, and new refrigerator, dishwasher, and stovetop (2023), as well as a new wall oven (2024).
