Neighborhood Description; Great schools in the neighborhood! a K-8 called Gateway Environmental public school opened in 2012, right across 162nd ave, less than 1000 feet from your doorstep. Nearby is a 7-17 Everglades Prep academy, a high standards Charter school. I've sub taught in both and can vouch for their quality! Audubon village appropriately named; beautiful park-like walkways surrounds almost every home; see aerial. My home within walking distance of Clubhouse w/many community activities, banquet facilities, large pool, screened hot tub and indoor gym facilities. See aerial shot; note large pool just to East of my home; it's the clubhouse. Quarterly association dues come to only about $60/month and worth it; homes required to be kept up, no street parking, "Crime watch" association, no boats/RV's in driveways (but allowed within gated space next to homes). If neighbors get messy, the HOA is on their case. HOA does great commons landscaping (go right out the back door to enjoy the walk/bike paths) and plenty of events happening at the clubhouse just across the pond - you'll be notified with monthly newsletters sent to you. Great home...I'll miss my garden!
