This area is also convenient to Atlanta Memorial Park (home of the Bobby Jones public 18-hole golf course and the Bitsy Grant Tennis Center); Chastain Park (one of the city's premier performing arts venues); and the southern end of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area (rafting, hiking, fishing, etc.).
