They grow all along the Cascade Mountain Range and are everywhere high on the peaks above my cabin so I just had to name it Mountain Rose Lodge. There are even a few in my garden right next to other rose varieties. Set on a large property not too far from the stunning Skykomish River, this cabin is the perfect place for family and friends to meet, relax, have fun and - shall I say - smell the roses. 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, first class televisions, comfy furniture, 2 real wood stove and fully outfitted It is located in a private neighborhood, with plenty of parking we are not far from where the famed Great Northern Railway was built and now operated by Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad. Set on two floors you'll find an oversized living room, dining room, kitchen combination and plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have fun on the top floor with a large flat panel smart TV, cable and internet connection or wifi. On the first floor is another kitchen and living area which also has a flat screen TV and comfortable furniture. You may want to put the kids here but still have them close, but they may want to spend time in the fenced yard and fun playground equipment. Guests can settle into our nice 3 private bedrooms each of which has a comfortable Queen sized bed, handy reading lights and plenty of closet room. Both kitchens are fully outfitted with pots, pans and cooking wares. Plenty of dishes and silverware. For skiers we are located just 34 miles from the incredible terrain at Stevens Pass Ski Resort. It's just another 30 miles to the ever popular Bavarian themed town of Leavenworth in Eastern Washington. Scientists call it Rosa Gymnocarpa, the bald-hip rose or little wild rose.
