This cabin was built with two things in mind: Will it be a permanent residence or a vacation home! Just two of us built this cabin with lots of love and enjoyment. It is tucked away in pristine Hamlin Valley, Utah on 20 acres full of trees and is totally off the grid. The cabin has a wrap-around porch for a 360 view of the woods and animal life. The cabin is solid as a rock and needs someone to complete the inside to make it their own. It has lots of extras to many to mention here but here is a quick rundown of some. A spiral staircase takes you upstairs to the second floor which opens to the downstairs, and has a half-bath too. There are ceiling fans in every in every room along with two fireplaces, one wood burning in the front room and a backup propane fireplace between the kitchen and dining area. There are two propane refrigerators, one in the kitchen and is brand new this year (21 CF) also another (15 CF) refrigerator located in the work-shed outside. A propane tank located beside the shed is 500 gallons and is owned. The cabin is fully functional with water, sewer, electrical and a solar system that tracks the sun with a battery backup bank when the sun goes down in the evening and during bad weather. The batteries can also be charged if needed by generator when there is no sun. The porch has motion detected lights on all sides as well as the shed. Also included is a 20’ RV for guests and a covered BBQ area. There is an 11Kw generator outside the back of the shed and is wired to start from the inside electric panel for those times if needed for cold nights that you don't want to run out and hit a start button. Most of the furniture stays with the cabin and all the outside roof antennas stay as well. The cabin is wired for Hughes Net Internet, DirecTV, Phone, Sirius XM and a local radio station Antenna. There is a 3 thousand gallon above ground water tank for the garden area and two 1,200 gallon underground tanks for the cabin. The water tanks for the cabin are fully plumbed with a pump that maintains water pressure in the cabin as needed with the turn of a spigot. Lastly but not least – every night that is clear – you have the most beautiful unobstructed view of the stars and planets– breathtaking! Anyone looking for solitude and away from the hustle and bustle of Big City Life will love this place.
