Safe and quiet, separate entry studio for one person on beautiful, forested serene property in one of the most desirable areas of Prescott. Two miles to YRMC west, walk/ride to world class Thumb Butte trail systems. Studio is attached to and on east side of our house, large bedroom/living area w/small private patio located at ground level (not a basement), east and south windows. We live on site full time, though are very respectful of your privacy. Furnished: High quality memory foam topped mattress. Large walk in closet, steel locking security outer screen door and touch pad entry on primary main steel entry door. We provide a fully stocked kitchen, quality dishes, silverware, utensils, linens, stainless electric wok, double electric cooktop, food processor, countertop oven, microwave, crock pot, waffle-maker, quality pots and pans. No laundry facilities on site. The toilet is a waterless electric compost toilet which with no ongoing care needs by the tenant. (see below more info). We are a quiet, active family, and request a renter who is likewise. We do ask questions to ensure a good fit for both parties, this has reflected in our long term success with both long and short term renters. We're easy, though if your schedule and activities include coming in late, loud night TV or music, parties at home, we're sorry, this studio is not a fit for you. We are open to being a rover for your pet, which we've done for multiple travel staff. Flat screen TV with multi USB and HDMI ports. Compatible with Internet TV services. Wi-Fi is included. Other info: Occupancy for one person. Biolet toilet is an electric (waterless) compost toilet, it's maintained by owners 2-3x monthly/as needed (Biolet.com for info) to assess, cycle out and to add compost. Pets on case-by-case basis w/reasonable monthly fee. No candles or burning incense, plug in or other diffusers are okay. NO smoking or vaping in the house or on property. Entry to the studio is via stone steps, or travel through a small meadow from front yard. There are outdoor solar lights leading to the studio, otherwise it's a dark natural property where you'll see the moon and stars, herds of deer, hawk, owls, javelina and the occasional bobcat and coyote. The drive in from paved road is approximately 1/4-mile climbing dirt road, it does have bumps and lumps, some may find it rugged, the home owners prefer it this way to encourage slow driving for the safety of the animals who live in this forested bowl. It's accessible in any vehicle, unless volume of snow, plan accordingly.
