On 03/05/2021, I had 2 Tesla POWER WALLS installed. On Sept. 13, 2019 we added three Daikin 19 SEER ductless heating and air conditioning units, one each to the guest bedroom, Office, and Jack & Jill bathroom! These units are each 3/4 ton/9000 BTU units! On April 3, 2019 we added two Daikin, 19 SEER Ductless Heating & cooling Heat pumps. A 2.5 ton unit for the great room, and a 1 ton unit for the master bedroom. The original 5 ton central heating and air conditioning unit is still fully operational! In July 2013 we had a 10.8 KWH solar ( photovoltaic) system installed by Solar City on the roof of the 50' X 60' steel building. The system is on a 20 year lease that locks my payments to Solar City at $161.67/mo. for my electrical usage. We recently (June 2011) added a propane fired emergency 20 KW power generator that will maintain power to the house and RV storage/Shop in the event of a power outage. We also added lights and outlets in the shop. Our home was custom built, by Ken Boskoff Construction, Inc. The house is a rustic design with a dual pitched steel roof. All doors and windows are Energy Star rated dual glazed Marvin Windows of the Integrity line, except the front entry doors. The front entry doors are antiques from silent screen star, Gloria Swanson's Malibu California beach front home of the 1930s. which were removed by my wifes grand father (Chester Monroe Williams), when he remodeled Swanson's home in the 1930s. All the rooms are trimed in natural Cedar. Our home consists of: An over sized master bedroom (18' X 18' 4"), with a walkin closet, and a large master bath with two vanity sinks, an over sized tub, and a large walk in shower. The two secondary bedrooms are both (14' X 14') with walkin closets, and they share a jack-n-jill bathroom between them, with pocket doors. The jack-n-jill bath consists of two vanity sinks, camode, tub/shower. The house also has a half bath powder room off the foyer at the front entrance. The exterior front entry way and the foyer are lighted by two antique decorative wrought iron chandeliers, from my wife's, grand parent's vacation home, built in Victorville, California in 1928, by: Chester Monroe Williams. The exterior front entrance is a large arched natural stone entry way that extends from the ground to the roof line. All stone work on the interior and exterior of the residence, was accomplished with stone from our property, that has green, yellow, and gray lichen growing on it. The laundry room has a drop down ironing board and sink, and all electric washer and dryer. The great room is 33' X 38' and comprises the kitchen, Pantry, dining room, and living room, with a large natural stone fireplace and hearth, with a large semi-rough cut beam as a mantel. the fireplace is a "Kozy" with a thermostaticly control blower system to heat the room. All door in the house are 8' except the front entrance. All doors and windows except the front entrance have wooden 4.5 inch shutters. The ceilings are all 9' except in the great room they are 11' except for a thee foot wide area next to the walls where the ceiling is 9'. There is a large patio on the North and West side of the house. It is covered by the natural roof line of the house and is supportd by three 6" X 6" cedar beams that are incased in large natural stone pilasters. The patio is wired for! Hot water for the residence is supplied by a solar/electric hot water heater and roof panals. The bedrooms are carpeted with top grade carpet and pad, while the rest of the house is tiled with beige 20" X 20" ceramic tile. The attached garage is an over sized three car garage! The detached insulated steel RV Storage/Shop, (by: Heritage Steel Buildings) is (50' X 60') with four (14' X 14') rollup doors, two pedestrian doors, and six (3' x 6') dual glazed windows, and a half bath. The building was up graded to a seismic rating of "D" and wind load of 120 mph. The floor is 6" of 3000 psi concret.
