I'm looking for someone friendly, clean, and respectful to make our shared 2 bed/2 bath apartment in a luxury downtown Jersey City apartment building feel like home :) The available bedroom is an unfurnished, queen-sized master suite with spacious closet, ensuite bathroom, massive windows, and plenty of room for your furniture (including space for a large desk if COVID still has you working from home)! The apartment is a 7 minute walk to the Grove St. PATH and right across the street from the Marin Blvd. lightrail stop, offering super easy access to NYC, Exchange Place, Hoboken, and other parts of Jersey City. Looking for a professional or grad student, late 20s or early 30s (male or female is fine, I've lived with both and don't have a preference as long as we're a good fit!) who wants a comfortable, social place to call home. No cigarette or e-cigarette smokers please, and while I don't mind if you're 420 friendly outside, I prefer to keep the apartment completely smoke-free. The unit is a spacious corner unit with views of the marina and Liberty State Park. We have all amenities including in-unit washer/dryer, dishwasher, and individually-controlled heating/ac units in each room. We share a large, open-format shared living room and kitchen with tons of natural light and a big kitchen island -- perfect for board game nights and dinner parties! The common areas are fully furnished (plus plants!), but if you have a few things to bring, we can figure it out! Building amenities include 24 hour concierge/doorman, large 24h gym (currently closed due to COVID), 24h community room/amenity lounge with desks, tables, and sofas, outdoor pool (!), community garden, package delivery, monthly community events, and helpful, friendly staff. About me I'm a 26 year old professional working for an international organization, normally in lower Manhattan but WFH until January 2021 because of the pandemic, and have my workspace set up in my bedroom. In normal times, I love to explore and am doing my best to safely get out and have fun despite the current circumstances. Cooking is one of my biggest hobbies and I love entertaining but am not a wild partier. My other hobbies include hiking, yoga, reading, traveling and doing things around JC/NY. Cleanliness in common areas is extremely important to me; some clutter because we lead busy lives doesn't bother me, but filth does. I'm friendly, open-minded, flexible, considerate, and an open and direct communicator, and value those qualities in my roommate. Parking available for additional fee.
