History: The house is on part of George Lea's 200 acres which he acquired from William Penn in 1702. Ralph Eavenson bought it in 1726. By 1790, Daniel Pyle has purchased 130 acres with a log house, and then wills his son, Robert 18 acres in1823 with a stonehouse and date stone dated to 1820. A brick addition (2nd and 3rd bedroom) was constructed in 1843. A kitchen and 2nd full staircase was added in 2000.
