We are pet-friendly! The cabin has lake views in the winter and subtle lake views in warmer months. Main space has cathedral ceilings, maple hardwood floors, a modern kitchen with quartz countertops and a Smeg fridge (second large fridge in basement), as well as a large dining table for entertaining / family meals. Brand new Forno oven and farmhouse sink. Off the main space there is a 30 foot back deck that overlooks the forest and lake with an outdoor couch and dining table for four. Back inside and on the second floor, there is a cozy loft with a Joybird sofa and 65 inch screen TV. The upstairs bedroom is a cozy room with wood tongue and groove ceilings, and ensuite half bath, and lake shimmers hit the walls in the morning. The downstairs bedroom is larger with views of both the lake and the front of the home. This bedroom has a large built in armoire and XL mirror. Basement is finished (except open ceiling with pipes exposed) but can be used as a work space or storage. The property is forested and nestled next to Army Corps land and in a friendly "summer camp" feeling neighborhood. Neighborhood lake trail heads down to the lake and a small cove. Very close to parks -- 1 minute from Summersville Dam, 3 minutes to Battle Run boat launch / beach, 8 minutes to Carnifex Ferry State Park, and under 10 minutes to Summersville Lake State Park entrance. 22 minutes from the New River Gorge National Park / Fayetteville. Under 10 minutes from the meadow. Very close to all things outdoors: climbing, biking, hiking, lake activities, etc. Owner pays wifi, trash, and water.
