There is a male white-tailed deer that often sleeps outside the kitchen window. The apartment is accessible by the main entrance and a private entrance in the back, both of which have stairs. Window treatments/shades installed and included. Large walk-in closet space. Portable A/C unit provided. Secure bicycle storage on the property. Shared common area for reading/working. Shared front porch with furniture. Located one block from Pearl Street, walking distance to downtown. Because of the historic nature and location of the building it has some quirks, so living here requires open communication and the ability to compromise. Everybody in the building is relaxed and friendly, so maintaining an amicable living environment is not difficult. The apartments aren t perfectly soundproofed and you will likely be able to hear the other tenants from time to time, so you must be willing and able to openly communicate with other tenants and compromise about noise issues. The building has central heating that is shared between all the apartments in the building, so all tenants have to compromise on the temperature during the winter. This also means that we are unable to accept any pets that might have dander or fur/hair for allergy reasons. The apartment has one bedroom and a room in the back with a private entrance and a window into the kitchen that could be used as a bedroom or an office. No pets, smoking, or loud parties.
