You will be renting the master bedroom with a private bathroom and two closets. It's on the other side of the house from my room with the living room and two walls separating us. That combined with the portable AC unit I keep in my room + little door sweep things means that we have really good sound barriers. We are also on the top floor and your bedroom does not share any walls with neighbors except below you. I'm pretty sure our kitchen is against someone else's but I have never actually heard them. Separately from noise-related things, I have a roomba with a vacuum and mop and it's been amazing for keeping the floors decent. We also have access to the community pool and hot tub and small gym. See the apartment complex's website for details (Look up Alderwood Park apartments). No smoking in the unit. We will need to agree to working out a code of conduct for roommates. I don't have any pets however the apartment complex does technically allow for them. I would prefer no pets as I am mildly allergic to cats and dogs but depending on the animal and you covering any fees required by the apartment complex for the animal I may be open to it. The lease term is 1 year and you will be signing the apartment complex's lease. The $60 fee is their application fee so if we decide we want to live together, when you apply to the apartment complex that's what they will charge. My main goal is to make sure we are both happy we our new arrangement.
