It is right in front of Sam's Club and Eastwood Towne Center is right across the street with great restaurants. 127 North or South is right down the street as well. Everywhere I needed to go whether it be in Okemos, East Lansing, or Lansing, everything was 15 min or less of a commute via car. There is also a bus stop right out side the Peppertree Park Townhome community as well. I really enjoyed the small park that's behind the complex as well. If I had to rent again, I would definitely come back here. They have in-unit laundry available for rent or you can bring your own.
