This is a tiny 2-1 house renting for $1200 close to Lake Bastrop. The house is out in the country on a wooded lot which it shares with an even tinier Tiny house. It's a 2-1 metal shed that's been remodeled using reclaimed materials to make a rustic-style tiny house. It measures about 12' x 40' and is approximately 480 square feet. There are 2 bedrooms. One of the bedrooms has a built in loft that can fit a single bed. Storage or another single bed can be placed underneath the loft. The steps to the loft are available for additional storage or shelving. The bathroom has a roomy ceramic-tiled shower, sink, and RV toilet. A small kitchen with electric stove and refrigerator is ready for any small gourmet cooking your heart might desire. Flooring is vinyl plank except for carpet tiles in the master bedroom. Portable heaters can be provided if requested. Renters will be responsible for A/C window units. There are ceiling fans throughout the house. If you just need a place to sleep and take a shower, you'll have the whole (tiny) place to yourself. The other tinier house is rented and my current renters are quiet and working much of the time. The house is at 182 Cedar Shade, Bastrop, TX. 78602. It's about 7.5 miles from Bastrop city and a mile or 2 from Lake Bastrop. You have the conveniences of HEB, WalMart, various restaurants, Home Depot, Lowes, parks, etc. within a 10 minute drive. If you like fishing, kayaking, swimming, or walking along the lake, you could pop down to Lake Bastrop within 5"-10". Austin is a relative near or far depending on the traffic and part of town you're trying to access. Rent is $1200/month with a $1200 deposit, and the total of $2400 is due in full when the lease is signed. There is a non-refundable pet fee of $200/pet. This fee is possibly negotiable depending on the pet. Work and rental references are required for at least the past year. I'm looking for a renter who will pay the rent on time and keep the place up. Renter will be responsible for trash pickup, and lawn upkeep. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT RENTER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE WATER BILL OF BOTH HOUSES. TINIER HOUSE ON THE PROPERTY IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ELECTRIC BILL.
