You can also take the Circulator Bus to get to Adams Morgan, using the Woodley Park-Adams Morgan-McPherson Square route. Owning a car is not a necessity if you choose to live in Adams Morgan, as there are plenty of amenities within walking distance in the neighborhood, especially on Columbia Road. If you do wish to drive, both Connecticut Avenue NW and 16th Street NW provide good routes into downtown DC and out to the Maryland suburbs.
