OUr home was ready and we moved in late December 2007.Hampton Pointe consists of approx 800 plus acres of heavily treed property that contains some 14 lakes/ponds that are situated around the fabulous JACK NICKLAUS DESIGNED 18 hole champion ship golf course. Most golf course communities there is a large buy in to be a member of the club, not here, no buy in and everyone is a member of the club.Our town home is maintainence free. Lawn cutting, fertilizer, watering, trimming, gutter cleaning, trash pickup and even building power washing is included in the package.Our Town Home features on the lower level a half bath, laundry room, formal dinning room, Office or Den, large kitchen with cherry cabinets large great room with floor to ceiling windows (20 ft. ceiling) , gas fireplace that looks out onto a large screened in Lani (20 ft high) that backs up to some of the largest trees on the entire property, lots of privacy here. Protected area!!In the kitchen the appliances are stainless steel and the cabinets are cherry. I might add that most of the down stairs has cherry wood flooring. Only exception is the master bedroom and laundry room. In the kitchen the burners are gas, the oven is conventional and convection with a large microwave oven and dishwasher. Double deep sinks and a large granite breakfast island. There are lots of cabinets and the granite counter top runs the length of the room.  There are two pantries, one a walk in and the other is not.The master bedroom is large with high vaulted ceilings, walk in closet, double vanity, large soaking tub and enclosed shower. All rooms of the home have custom lighting and ceiling fans. Security system with duel master controls.Up stairs features a large loft that can be used for a media room or game room. The loft looks down onto the great room on the first floor. Also on the second level is two rather large bedrooms with their own full baths. One of the bedrooms has high cathedral ceilings and the other has a very large walk in closet with a walk in storage room.The home has duel central air conditioners, one for the up stairs and one for the down stairs.  It also has duel furnaces (not often used here in the south). 220 amp outlets are found on the Lani and one in the two car garage which also has additional storage built above the garage doors.  After purchasing this home we finished off the 3rd bedroom and bath and also added the large Lani. Cost was an additional 30 thousand above the purchase price. Hampton Pointe is a relatively new Toll Brothers community (largest luxury home builder in the country) with approximately 130 current residents. At build out there will be approx 800 residences. The stunning JACK NICKLAUS DESIGNED Golf course has been finished but the openening is pending. The Nicklaus designed course is just beautiful, it has allready been hailed as one of the most beautiful golf course in the Hilton Head area. Upon completion Hampton Pointe will have a 27 thousand sq.ft. club house that will contain mens and ladies locker rooms, spa, fitness center, pro shop and restaurant. It will also have a large out door pool and 8 tennis courts. All Hampton Pointe residents will be members of the club and golf club. Monthly membership is expected to be in the $300 range per month.  As mentioned, all residents will be members and thats how Toll will hold down the cost. So how is this for a deal? Until the golf course and amenities are open for business at Hampton Pointe, all Hampton Pointe residents will enjoy golf, fitness, pools, restaurants, spa and tennis at the Toll B
