Neighborhood Description Magnolia is a village on the North Shore of Boston, between Manchester and Gloucester. It was a high society playground in the 20s and 30s and still contains a number of lovely, elaborately designed homes from that era. It contains a fabulous recreational walk around the shoreline, near to our home. The village post office and convenience store are also walking distance from our home, as is a great swimming beach. Train to Boston about 6 miles away; ride to Boston takes about 1 hour.
