The house is currently furnished, but if you have your own, any furnishings not needed will be stored in the basement. The basement is available for additional storage as well. This is a modern style family home near Huntsville Reservoir. Only a few minutes from Harvey's Lake and Misericordia University, and a short drive to Ricketts Glenn and Francis Slocum State Parks. The house is also close to Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital, and Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center. Along with it's proximity to local institutions and attractions, it offers plenty for you and your travel partners on site. The house sits on a 2 acre lot, with an in-ground swimming pool (Open April-October), and a large yard perfect for frisbee, soccer, badminton, and many other activities. This is a very nice and peaceful property, with quiet and respectful neighbors. We just ask that you keep excessive noise and loud music to a minimum. Enjoy the sound of the birds and other wildlife, and listen to the wind blowing through the trees. If upgraded internet is desired, it will be the tenant's responsibility. Standard Lease is monthly. If rent is paid in full and on time, the price will not increase for at least 12 months. 6-12 month leases are available. There is a $1500 security deposit required if your stay is going to be more than 30 days. This can be paid in full up front, or split between the first 2 ($750 per month) or the first 3 ($500 per month). Deposit will be refunded pending satisfactory final inspection. Renter is responsible for all Utilities. Electric and Heat. Renter is responsible for Garbage collection. There are several collection companies available for you to choose from. 250Mb Fiber Internet is included. If additional bandwidth is desired, the cost will fall on the renter. Renter is responsible for snow clearing and grass cutting. Landlord will assist as they are able. Riding mower may be available for renter's use. No smoking/vaping or tobacco use anywhere on property. Garage is not available for tenants as is it used as a workshop and storage for property maintenance equipment. There are 3 Parking Spaces on the side of the driveway. Tenants have access to the pool area and front/back yards. Pool will be closed Oct 1st and reopen April 1st. Owner will maintain the pool (weekly cleanings and chemical adjustments) during the open season. Home is currently furnished. If furnishings aren't needed, they will be stored in the basement. Owner will give tenants at least 24 hours notice before entering the home for maintenance/repairs, except for emergencies, where as much notice as possible will be given (power outages, water leaks, roof damage, etc)
