Pretty quiet with great veiws. There is a dog team close by, but you hardly ever hear them and have never bothered us a bit. You can also hear the train go by, but get used to it in no time. Kind of cool to be able to see it pass way down below in the tree lines in the winter. Neighbors are friendly but mostly keep to themselves.
