There are miles and miles of walking/biking/x-country trails...we are located in a quiet part of Eagle River, but with convenient access to Eagle River stores and shops and only 20 minutes from Anchorage. We are located in the easiest commute location - the first exit off the highway past Fort Richardson. We are close to hiking trails (Mt. Baldy, Eagle River Nature Center...and many more), lakes (Eklutna, Mirror Lake, etc.) and many more outdoor activities (rafting, camping, mountain biking!). We have a homeowner's association that is very responsible and responsive - they maintain our snow removal at an unbelievable rate! They make sure our roads are navigable, pot holes filled, etc. We pay minimal fees at $225 per quarter.
