Saratoga Woods is a wonderful, family oriented neighborhood with wide streets lined by mature, graceful trees. It's one of the few area in Saratoga with distinct community boundaries (bordered by Saratoga Creek, Cox Avenue and Saratoga Avenue). Furthermore it has its own community center with the Saratoga Woods Swim Club where all the neighborhood families gather for each holiday throughout the year for BBQs and family parties. The neighborhood also hosts its own Summer time swim team and competes against other neighborhood swim clubs in Saratoga, Palo Alto, Santa Clara and Cupertino. The pool club also serves as a social center for the kids when they are off from school. Saratoga Woods also hosts it own neighborhood children's bicycle parade on Independence Day and canned food drives & outdoor Christmas Tree displays in the Winter time.
