Nederland has an active outdoor adventure and sports culture, live music, breweries, coffee shops, and eclectic living. Alpine or Nordic ski during the winter months at the local mountain, Eldora Ski Resort, only 10 minutes away snowshoe trails also abound; hike, bike, backpack, fish, trail ride, or run in the warmer months throughout the many trails of the Roosevelt National Forest that are just outside our doorstep. The city of Boulder is only a 20-minute scenic drive, or you can take the bus from Nederland or wherever you are coming. When you're done enjoying the outdoors and surrounding nature, come home to gaze at the stars or take a midnight stroll with absolutely no light pollution. It is truly a place to get away and find yourself. The land's energy is palpable, and we honor and appreciate the ancestors who resided before us.
