It is the upstairs of a duplex (there is a working Monday- Friday family of 3 living below) Large open kitchen and living room with high ceilings, Covered private large lanai with outside dining area, a day bed for epic sunsets and morning or afternoon naps. Surrounded by avocado trees and beautiful Estate grounds of bougainvillea's, large trees, green grass and lots of birds and a Tennis court. Our views are to die for. We're up at 1900 feet elevation, so the views are bi-coastal and cover Central Maui, the West Maui Mountains and the Pacific Ocean. Backside is a private sunning and star gazing area surrounded by flowering potted plants, Buddha statues and a car park with sunshade are. Full-sized kitchen with granite countertops comes with a Blentec blender for your smoothies in the morning, electric espresso coffee maker, tea kettle and all kitchen amenities you will need to cook up great meals with lots of great Health and Italian cook books to enjoy. It is complete with all things to make your stay super comfortable and enjoyable. The bedroom has a king size bed and new mattress. The Livingroom and kitchen floors are bamboo flooring, with lots of carpets and bedroom has wall to wall carpeting. We have beautiful high ceilings throughout. Great JBL German sound system, Flat screen TV, Spectrum internet with fast high speed Wi-Fi. There is a shared outside covered laundry washer and dryer area for upstairs and downstairs apartments. This is a No Smoking and No Party House. We are Twenty minutes to the beach, 45 minutes to Haleakala's 10,000-foot summit, 15 minutes to Makawao Town where there are boutique shops and restaurants and 12 minutes to the Kula Hospital. Weather: It is cooler in Kula. Mornings can be in the 60's. Daytime temps are very pleasant and can get up to mid 80's, never hot. It's often considered the best weather on Maui. It is also usually dry with limited rain and wind. We are offering our rental for the right guest(s) who would like to water our small potted garden, herb garden (to enjoy) and love up & feed our 2 outside totally independent no fuss cats.
