Upstairs is a big bedroom with three closets and a built in bookcase. *Please note that the ceilings upstairs are only six feet tall.* Great shower, plenty of windows, new mini-split AC unit upstairs and a powerful window AC unit for downstairs. It's a smaller house so it's perfect for one person. Water/ sewer/ trash is $50 a month. Wifi is $25/ month if you want to share mine. You will share covered outdoor laundry facilities with my wife and I and there's a shared table and chairs on the concrete patio but your house is totally private. You get the good parking spot in the front yard. The property is located in the historic Villa Verde neighborhood in Encanto - lots of little art houses from the 20s and 30s that people have put a lot of effort into fixing up. You can walk to a coffee shop or diner, 5-10 minute drive to downtown. I've been here for seven years and never had my car broken into, never had someone climb over the fence, never been accosted on the street, etc. My mom and my sister live down the street. A nice safe quiet neighborhood, I know a lot of my neighbors and we help each other out. (My neighbors occasionally give me eggs from their chickens and vegetables from their gardens, etc.) About me: I'm a 48 year old writer, sober for 16 years (so if you're a party animal, this isn't the place for you). My wife is a graphic designer. I guess we're in the "pleasant and boring" phase of our lives? Happy to have you talk to other tenants who will verify that I'm not a slumlord, that I am a third party verified good boy, etc. I have a dog and a special needs cat who hang out in the yard (I clean up after them every day). **Indoor cats only, dogs would need to be leashed at all times when outside.** No tobacco, weed is fine.
