    This is a very unique property that in some ways defies explanation, you really have to experience it for yourself. But to give you a general idea let me state a few things. The White Mountain Trading Post is a gift shop and living history museum located on scenic hwy 160 in Fort Garland Colorado. It is one block away from the only original fort left in Colorado, something we use to our advantage. We could be considered a tourist trap. On the property we have 5 historic replica building displays. We have a library, Hogan, Underground Native American Dwelling, Marshals Office and Jail and Blacksmith shop. Each of these is decorated inside just like their owners walked out of them 100 years ago. We also have a Photo studio building that has been constructed but not finished on the inside. We have a small petting zoo with goats, miniature donkeys and Miniature horses. On this property we have a large horse riding arena approximately 200x100. The arena floor is washed crushed gravel providing very nice footing for most equine sports and vastly reducing the amount of dust in the air. There are seven horse pens that were built 2019 out of metal pipe. They should last with zero maintenance for the next 100 years. One wing of the Black Smith shop is used as a tack area. The main building on the property is 5400 square feet and is three levels. It has a simi finished basement, used for storage, wash room, Dog kennel and work areas. The ground floor is the gift shop/antique store. The ground floor is finished to look like an old trading post in the 1800's with massive logs in the ceiling. We would be open to selling store contents as well. The upstairs is currently a living area. There are 6 bedrooms, an office, a dining room and kitchen and one full bathroom on this floor. There are also two balconies overlooking the grounds. As stated earlier this is a very unique property that could easily be repurposed to be a spacious residential home or business. The location is truly great, being right on hwy 160. We chose this location because traffic counters placed near this area show that 2 million people travel this highway every year.
