This home is fully bricked and constructed of steel beams instead of 2x4 lumber. This makes it safer in a storm. The last hurricane that tracked through this area had a large wind field so we experienced higher wind speeds for a longer period of time. We lost the privacy fence around ( it was time to replace that anyway) the 16x32 rectangle pool. The stand alone shop I had built matches the brick on the house perfectly along with the outside paint and metal roofing color. Inside the shop is twice filtered water and electricity. I had to have clean water for my project. The electricity is ran through 4 ga. wiring (the supplier didn’t have the 6 or 8 ga. In-stock so he made me an offer.). All of the outlets are mounted at 4ft on the walls (this makes cleaning the floor easier and also saves your back and knees). The floor has a center drain line so it’s easy to clean. The lighting is the instant-on fluorescent lighting I have 5 units with 4 bulbs in each unit. The insulation is thick enough to provide a level of soundproofing.
