This property has primarily been used as a deer hunting tract in the past although it is located in one of the most productive waterfowl areas of the Lafouche flyway. There is no levee system on the property at this time, but the North end does periodically flood. The property is naturally level and is made up primarily of heavier soils, and should be able to be developed into a timber duck hole. The property boarders Woodsland Plantation to the North and Salt Lake Farms to the South, both of which have been historically considered two of the best waterfowl hunting properties.
