    What's special

Welcome to Porpoise Paradise, your majestic escape into the Pacific Northwest. Perched above the beautiful Puget Sound, this 1940s beach house is opening its doors for the first time to welcome you! Whether you are bringing the kids or just the significant other, we're sure you'll leave with lasting memories. Porpoise Paradise is a 1940's beach house, at the end of the road, that has been added to at least one time. The 4 bedrooms are not your typical bedrooms and the stairs to 3 of the 4 bedrooms are what some describe 'boat stairs.' Technically, there are 5 different levels to the house. Porpoises, which are very similar to dolphins, frequent the bay in front of the house, nearly every day and sometimes all day long. Bald eagles, seals, otters and salmon are just a few of the other wildlife you might see at the house. Kids will love it, and it's a romantic spot for couples too. But if there are people in the group that have some physical limitations, there is only one bedroom that could be suitable for them, and that has a half set of stairs to access. The Master Bedroom is a space of its own and perfect place to unwind by yourself or with your significant other. The King bed faces the gorgeous Puget Sound that looks off to Seattle and Mt Rainier, seen on a clear day. There are two full bathrooms in the house, but neither are connected to any bedroom. The main bathroom is on the common level floor and there is also a full bathroom with walk-in the basement of the house. The main bathroom is set up as a spa with huge walk-in rainfall shower, towel warmer, soaking tub, robes and more. The upstairs shares a very small, half bathroom. The basement has a sectional sofa that can be turned into 4 super comfy twin beds. We provide pillows and blankets and it just takes a small rearranging of the sofa. KEY FEATURES: 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms in a very private location Open-air, spa-like bathroom with rain shower features, premium toiletries, towel warmers, and a soaking tub Natural daylight spilling into the common areas and master bedroom Fully-equipped kitchen with electric stove, propane BBQ grill, LUX espresso machine, and much more Outdoor deck with BREATHTAKING views of the Puget Sound, dining for 8, outdoor sofa and outdoor fire pit Private beach area and direct access to the water Porpoise Paradise offers a vacation experience youll never forget. This one-of-a-kind property immerses you into the rich history and culture of the Pacific Northwest. With large windows, skylights, and lots of open air, the 2,000 sq. ft. home is designed to maximize your enjoyment of the beautiful surrounding nature. Lose yourself in the breathtaking views of the Seattle skyline, Mt Rainier. If youre headed to Olympic National Park, this is the perfect home to come back to after a long days journey into the wilderness. BEDROOMS 1 King, 1 Queen, 1 Full, 1 Twin + 5 more twin 'floor mattress' beds Luxury beds and linens for a rejuvenating sleep Peak-a-boo views of the Puget Sound from every room including large windows for the master The luxury waterfront home has four bedrooms and can accommodate up to ten guests comfortably. All rooms are dressed with premium linens and pillows to ensure deep rest and relaxation. MASTER (MAIN) BATHROOM Towel warmer Soaking tub Huge walk-in shower Premium towels and toiletries Rainshower, handhelds, and shower jets The 2nd full bathroom is located in the basement with large walk-in shower, vanity and toilet. The half bathroom is located on the 3rd floor in the hall of the three upstairs bedrooms. KITCHEN & DINING Fully-equipped kitchen LUX Espresso machine + french press and traditional coffee maker Waffle maker, blender 4-burner electric stove with oven Serving trays and utensils for the whole family Coffee, tea, eggs, and pancakes provided Complimentary grocery delivery service The gourmet kitchen is a chefs dream with million dollar views, mixing modern design and retro style with all-natural woods, chrome, and stainless steel. Prepare homemade meals in the open-concept kitchen while still interacting with friends and family. As with most every room in the house, you wont miss any action on the water while cooking or doing the dishes. FAMILY ROOM & LIVING AREA 45" Smart TV with high-speed wi-fi Soft, heated, electric blankets Adjustable height standing and sitting desk with office supplies Genuine leather sofa and sheepskin rug Telescope and Binoculars for birdwatching and marine life Enormous windows and double doors to enjoy the sight and smell of the Puget Sound The main living room which overlooks the water is a calming blend of serenity and amazement. Settle into the cozy sofas or open your laptop on the desk. Modern decor and unbeatable views make this a prime place to unwind. OUTSIDE SPACE BBQ grill, gas provided Dining for 8 people Outdoor wood burning fire pit Sofa seating Direct beach access Seasonal rates apply: Nov - $6,000 Dec - April - $7,500 May - October : inquire for more details OTHER NOTES ABOUT THE HOME Pet-Friendly... Porpoise Paradise welcomes potty-trained, well-behaved pets for a flat rate of $75/pet/night. We kindly ask that nails be trimmed and pet brushed as close to arrival as possible. This is due to the delicate nature of the floors and other materials around the house, and tell us if any accidents occur so we can advise the best way to care for the home. Privacy... The property is very private and quiet and is the last house on the road. Please note that we do have a neighbor on each side of the house that can be closer than expected, though. They will respect your privacy and we also ask that you do the same for them (be mindful of using drones, playing loud music at night, kids yelling or screaming etc...) The 'Boat' Stairs.... the stairs to access the the King, Queen and Full bedroom are not your typical stairs and could be challenging for some. Please see picture that is in our photos for an example of what these stairs look like and be mindful if someone in your group with a physical limitation may need to climb them. BOOKING POLICIES Security Deposits and Incidentals... A $500 Security Deposit is required for all bookings. Security deposits and incidentals are collected separately by the property host (not by Host site). Renter's Agreement... All guests must sign a renter's agreement before arrival info is provided. Guest Count... The guest count on your reservation MUST be accurate. Since Porpoise Paradise attracts groups both small and large, Extra Guest Fees may show up on your booking quote. This is our best way to keep the price fair based on how many people are staying at the house. We know all circumstances are unique so don't hesitate to reach out if you have questions about this. Cancellation Policy... We adhere strictly to the cancellation terms listed. To protect your purchase, we provide you with an option to buy trip insurance, including a "Cancel for Any Reason" policy. (terms apply; more details provided after your booking is confirmed)
