First month's rent and safety deposit upon move. YOURS: Spacious sunny master's bed (12 x 14 - measurements don't include the bathroom or walk-in) and downstairs living space (17 x 13) - basically half of the house. Bedroom has walk-in closet, a huge private bath w/ 2 sinks, private view of our beautiful backyard and own private entrance. Downstairs living space is **mostly private** except for the few occasions: if upstairs toilet is occupied and one of us REALLY has to go (we use the half bath NOT your private bath), occasionally C works out downstairs/ backyard or side yard, and access to the laundry/ pantry. Both the master bedroom and living area are unfurnished. SHARED: 1st fl half bath (in case of emergencies), upstairs dining, kitchen and living room, garage, driveway, HUGE beautiful backyard and side yard (with patio furniture, a fire pit, and a BBQ). ABOUT US: We are a couple in our 30s. Roomie A - J, male, 30s, works in media, WFH but travels often for work. When not working, he loves to go sift estate sales, work on his furniture, go overlanding, fishing, cooking, and finding the best Reuben or burger in town. Has been voted as "Funniest Roommate". Roomie B - C, female, 30s, works in healthcare, fitness, and also pet sits/ walks pups. Also a frequent traveler. Loves to move/ dance, cook (and feed people), trying new things, most sports, and be outdoors. Has been voted as "Best Cook". Our bunny Filbert, adopted 3 years ago by roomie B, rescued from the streets of PDX. Free roaming but he only stays on the rugs in 2nd fl living space. Will work for treats, fresh greens, and pets. Will also cuddle with you on the couch and floor. ABOUT THE HOUSE/NEIGHBORHOOD: We live in a VERY safe, and peaceful neighborhood. Our neighbors are friendly and very respectful - mostly families and 1 elderly couple adjacent to us. We are less than 1 mile from TJ's, Fred Meyers, Walmart, Grocery Outlet, and Chase. There's a beautiful park (dog park, tennis courts, playground and duck pond) within walking distance. This park is awesome - there's at least 4 varieties of ducks! We are also within an 8 min drive to downtown Milwaukie and to the Willamette - can kayak, SUP, walk along the water, etc. Although we have a 1-car garage, we mostly use it for storage. Our driveway can park up to 4 cars and or there is ample street parking on the very private street. YARDS: We have GORGEOUS yards - front, side, and back yards (fully fenced!). Great for hosting (parties/ dinner parties/ barbecues). The landlords expect us to maintain them so we all collectively pull weeds, rake, mow the lawn, and occasionally trim some plants. We've found weekly (during the fall) or bimonthly maintenance works well. We are generally pretty quiet aside from the occasional cleaning party or hosting guests. We are very respectful, tidy, understanding, and responsible. As working professionals, we wake up early for work so quiet hours are M-F (9:30p-6:00a) and flexible on weekends. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Ideally 1 working professional who is tidy, responsible, and respectful. We don't mind occasional overnight guests because we get it... but please no extended stays. We expect each housemate to tidy after themselves in the shared spaces (we do understand that sometimes we have to rush out/ we're tired because we're adults, etc but rule of thumb is end of the day and that shared spaces are mostly usable). And YES, we are open to pets - we have made this work in the past but we just have a few safety measures in place (for Filbert ). C and J are happy to help with doggycare! Lastly, we are both extroverted introverts so we value alone time as much as we value shared meals - you'll likely be fed some GREAT meals living with us (ask any of our friends).
