Hardwood floors throughout (except kitchen, which has a brand new stylish flooring). Feels sort of like a charming bed and breakfast, especially in the guest room (sloped ceiling). Artwork throughout. Kept very clean (we would expect the same from renters). Central air conditioning (and an additional window unit for upstairs). Lush garden oasis in back; pretty yard in front. Details by room (in order of entry): Living room: High ceilings (throughout the first floor). Wood-burning fireplace. Opens up to adjacent dining room. Set back from street for privacy. Dining room: Includes large hand-crafted dining table (seats eight), piano, and back-lit console. Kitchen: All stainless appliances (including new Bosch dishwasher and new Electrolux oven/stove). Breakfast room: Visible from kitchen. Two window walls make it extra sunny! Looks out over lush backyard. Back deck and garden: Small back deck with gas grill. Overlooks cozy, lush garden with small yard, watering system, rain barrels. Original carriage house (from 1887) serves as single car garage. A parking pad is adjacent. Only one parking spot will be available for your stay. Upstairs: Master bedroom with bathroom and balcony: The master bedroom is extra large with king-sized bed. Master bath has two vanities. Balcony overlooks back garden area. Den: Upstairs den perfect for watching TV. Sun-filled. Guest room: King-sized bed in cozy room with sloped ceiling. Feels like a B&B. BTW: The unit includes a third bedroom (we will be using that to store stuff; it's our office). It also includes a full unfinished basement. We use it for our own storage. There is a very small amount of room available to store small items. Our property also has a single car garage (we will be leaving a car here) and a carport (for your car). Fully furnished sublet for responsible, quiet, professional single; couple; couple-with-infant-under-12-months. (Not suitable for roommate scenarios.) All utilities included - expanded cable with HBO/Showtime; high-speed internet; electricity (capped at $125/month); gas; water. Tenants willing to fully care for two small landscaped yards will receive a price break of $200/month. For pre-approved dogs, a surcharge of $200/month will be added. Credit report will be required, unless tenant can pay in full prior to move-in. We will ask tenants to kindly: 1. acquire renter's insurance; 2. have the house cleaned on a regular basis (we can provide a cleaning person that we trust.)
