Sarasota's last Lustron Home! Assembled on-site in 1949 from factory components built at the Lustron Manufacturing Plant in Columbus, Ohio. All metal construction, with steel framing and porcelain enamel finish panels inside and out. Less than 3,000 where built and less than 2,000 survive. A Lustron was featured in a Museum of Modern Art (New York) Mid Century Modern Exhibit. A treasure. Not a tear down. Largely intact except for kitchen appliances.
