Includes 193, 197 and 201 Hwy V in Davisville, MO 65456. Square footage in the description includes the house at approximately 1100 Square feet and the store is 3000 square feet. Each building has 1 and 1/2 bath. 197 has been totally remodeled on the inside. New architectural shingled roof. Fixtures, electric wiring, plumbing, floor, walls, ceilings. All new appliances, water softener, hickory wood cabinets , countertops. New central HVAC, water filtration system. The upstairs is finished but has a low ceiling. It would be perfect for children, storage or personal space. The outside is in need of siding repair and painting and the deck needs repair and paint. The deck is partially covered at the back of the house and is a nice place to sit and enjoy the branch that runs along the property with crystal, clear spring water all year long. The property also includes 193 Hwy V, which is 1 acre of land that runs along the other side of the branch behind the house. This price also includes the store next door at 201 Hwy V. This store building is approximately 3000 square feet and has a new metal roof that was put on in 2016. It has 1 and 1/2 bath and a kitchen also. However we have had the water turned off for the past 3 years since it isn't being used. It has an outdoor wood burning furnace and there is a forced air furnace in the store but it needs to be hooked up. There is a small house on the other side of the store 205 Hwy V. The people seem nice, quiet, but are very slobby and have a junk car in the yard and burn trash in the yard.. It needs a privacy fence between the store and their house to diminish the eye soar. The cinder block building on 193 Hwy V (with the 1 acre of land) was the original post office of Davisville. We believe the building dates back to the 1900s. It is in very bad shape on the inside but the cinder blocks appear sound. There is a lot of history in it and the store building. Older people in the area will talk about the memories they have of the old post office and feed store. The main home and store (197 and 201) are on the same well and 2500 gallon septic tank which are in good working order. There is also a large feed bin (a square silo, if you will) next to the store. This is also included. The store, back in the day, was a feed store. They kept corn in the 'silo' and would let people bring in their burlap sacks and fill them with corn to purchase. It appears to be in very good shape and is a real center piece for the town. Across the street you have the American Legion Hall Post 601 and next to it is the Davisville Historical Society. Up the road the other way about 1/4 mile is Red Bluff Campground. Beautiful views there of the Huzzah Creek and the bluffs. And a couple doors down (past the slobs) is the Pucky Huddle General Store! Very nice, older couple lives there and ran the store. However the store has been closed for over 1 year due to Covid and health issues. Since they've been closed, we've had a lot of people asking us if we'd open up the old store again. The folks at the Pucky Huddle General Store told us about a month ago, they will not be opening the store and only plan to use the store as a dwelling now. So Davisville needs a store again. We just don't have the time anymore. Maybe you do?
