French Creek Ranch has ideal summer grazing and is located just a few miles off I-84, south of Durkee, OR. With 3,590 deeded acres along with 3 grazing allotments, the ranch will support more than 200 pair. the topography contains northern and southern facing drainagages, containing groves of Aspen along with some big conifers and juniper pine, and good water throughout the range. The area has good elk and mule deer numbers with hunting being very limited in the years past. For upland birds there is Chuckar, and huns with a number of turkey hanging out in the drainages. Grazing runs from May through October. The ranch has good corals right off Shirttail Creek Rd.
