    A Portion of the Property previously part of the Former Gulf Spring House land holdings, this 82+/- Acre wooded hillside still hosts at least one of the several mineral springs that attracted tourists from afar in the 1880's. Offering great privacy, hunting (bear, deer, and occasional moose) and other recreational endeavors. Second branch of the White River cascades through property along Route 14. Forest is being managed to insure wildlife and healthy trees with a plan approved by the County forester. Some wetlands on the south end of ravine, that has been home to beaver and blue heron. Enrolled in Current Use Forest Management Plan for property tax savings (Property taxes are only $218. this year!). A permit would be needed before any structure requiring a connection to a potable water supply or wastewater system could be constructed per WW-5-7922. Former Gulf House on 10+/- acres was sold off in 2019, ref: Book 174 page 186-6. Land was logged in 2018+/- per Management Plan. Property being sold as an enrolled parcel. Buyer would need to submit paperwork to continue enrollment in program or face a penalty. State engineer indicated a bridge would have to be about 24' long to span the high water width of the stream. There is a permit required to building a bridge, but it is "relatively simple". A curb cut permit would also need to be obtained from the State.
