Great neighbors! Everyone is friendly and open. Kids play freely and safely. Many homes are either original owner or second owners. Very little turnover. The neighbors take pride in their homes and maintain them well. Imagine living on a culdesack that is linked to 2 other culdesacks all linked off of a quite street. Truly perfect for kids since there is very little traffic - the only people who drive through the neighborhood live there. The kids can ride their bikes safely through the streets. The homes are very well built and don't suffer from the poor craftsmanship you see in so many newer homes. The yards are big but not overwhelming. Lots of rooms between the homes. There is a good deal of architectural diversity in the neighborhood. No two homes look the same. No cookie cutter designs! The Pantego Fire and Police department have a 2 to 3 minute response time if you ever need help. Pantego has a whole is wonderful. We are only a few blocks from a wonderful park that has multiple playgrounds and a wading pool. On holidays the town of 2500 turn out at the park for family friendly events. The Christmas tree lighting this year was fantastic!
