Two story, three bedroom two bath house in St. Anne's Hill historic district. This neighborhood has a very active association and has frequent social events, as well as regular meetings to keep everyone connected and informed. The co-op Fifth Street Brewpub is right at the end of the street, not more than a 2 minute walk. New York Pizza and Taqueria Mixteca are also within an easy walk. The kitchen opens out onto a large attached wood deck which is reinforced with steel beams and can support a hot tub. It is large enough for a six person hot tub, and a set of patio furniture along with assorted flower pots and other miscellany. The back yard is fenced and has some beautiful flowers (including a wonderfully scented old fashioned rose bush) and a lot of opportunity for a garden or more flower beds. There is a full basement under the first three rooms and a crawl space under the kitchen. The huge detached garage is actually a two-story carriage house and has room for at least one car and generous space, on the main floor and upstairs, for a workshop or other use.
