Zillow applications are not accepted. - Step 2: Attend an information session: We'll arrange a roughly 30-minute session to explain cooperative living, membership responsibilities, and answer your questions. - Step 3: Complete reference and background checks: Our membership team will coordinate the necessary checks as part of the review process. - Step 4: Attend a prospect dinner: You'll be invited to share a meal with current residents. This is an opportunity for everyone to meet, ask questions, and get a better sense of whether cooperative living is a good fit. - Step 5: Membership decision: Following the prospect dinner, house members formally vote on whether to approve your membership. If approved, we'll contact you about the next steps for signing a lease. PLEASE PLAN AHEAD Our membership process involves several steps and can take time to complete. If you have an urgent housing need or a specific move-in deadline, please communicate that as early as possible. An expedited process may be possible in certain circumstances, but cannot be guaranteed. READY TO GET STARTED? Visit the River City Housing Collective website and complete our Prospect Form.
