Room with private bathroom in penthouse apartment, next to Stanley Park: We are looking for someone to move into the 2nd bedroom in our penthouse, as our previous roommate has moved to Calgary. ABOUT YOUR SPACE: - East facing room at the back of the apartment, away from the common areas with beautiful morning sunlight - Full-sized closet - Original hardwood floors - Personal bathroom *Pictures on wall + plants not included* We have an extra desk for your room and a near-new queen mattress (that we're selling cheaply) if you're interested. Upgraded to a bigger desk and Garren bought the mattress brand-new, a few months before moving in with Talia and it has taken the mantle of "guest bed", infrequently used. ABOUT THE COMMON AREAS: - The apartment is 1000 sq ft and is the only unit on the top (5th) floor of the building. It has windows on all sides and is full of natural light. - In-suite laundry - Limited outdoor storage (that we haven't quite stuffed full yet so we're happy for you to store things there, if needed). - Kitchen is galley style with minimal counter/cupboard space and is fully stocked with dishware, appliances, etc but do let us know what kitchen bits you have (if any) and we can always try and compromise, because we want this to feel like your home too. - Beautiful outdoor patio space with furniture and a fire table, that is used daily in the summer. Ideally, you won't have much in the way of furniture or kitchenware, as we're mostly set up and are expecting to share. We value our space feeling tidy and prioritize cleanliness, but this isn't a hotel - we do live in our space and don't have the expectation of it being spotless all the time. Subtenant agreement - flexible terms: Open to 6 months - 1 year. We host a "family" dinner with our friends once a week and we'd love to include YOU in that! While socially, we value our people, we are NOT a party household. If having large numbers of people over late is something you like to do frequently, this home isn't for you. We do occasionally throw a kick-ass house party, but it isn't our consistent lifestyle. We are pet friendly! Would consider someone with a cat, provided it gets along with other cats and people - we would require a pet deposit for this. Please tell us a bit about you!
