Hi there- my roommate and I are looking for someone to sublet our apartment for May-July, with the option of continuing your own lease for the next year. Our apartment is very comfortable and located in a great neighborhood- two bedroom, one bath, laundry and storage available. The apt has big windows, and the front door opens up to an awesome private porch area. We have a dishwasher, all appliances work great, and we also have a grill and picnic area in the backyard! The place is a 10-15 walk from both Courthouse and Clarendon- close to a bunch of bars, restaurants, grocery store, etc. Utilities typically run about 100/month (we only pay for electric and cable)- and the complex covers heating in the winter, which was hugely awesome. The leasing company is really great to work with- they are very responsive and respond to work orders and questions immediately. The apartment comes with a parking spot, and then street parking is free with a resident sticker which is also free-really awesome. Additionally, street parking is not subject to zoning so guests are never a problem. The Custis bike/running path is right behind the place and can take you past East Falls Church or to Rosslyn in 5 minutes.
