Now that I got you to look, I have the new home for you. I gutted this house about 3 months ago and everything is new. Talk about a sweet pad for the people moving in here. If this place were any sweeter, it would be a castle made out of sugar or possibly a funnel cake with both ice cream and chocolate sauce on top. Here's the scoop: - Sunny 3 bedroom / 1.5 bath house located 3 blocks from NWU shuttle stop and just 6 blocks from campus. Everything in the whole house is new: kitchen with granite and new stainless appliances, bathrooms, carpet, paint, hard wood floors, windows, siding, etc. New central AC (you will be cool as a cucumber), - Big rooms with a sitting room, living room, dining room and office all part of the open first floor layout. - NEW WASHER AND DRYER in the basement. Laundromats suck! Just think of how much time you will no longer have to spend loitering while your clothes dry. You can go back to your room and study or crash out on your couch. - Large back yard for cooking out during the summer. - Parking pad for 2 cars directly behind the house. People have told me I should charge for parking but I say, “heck no, free parking for everyone!” - Tons of windows to let the sun in during the depressing winter months. - Available immediately so you can move in when you like. I may even let you move in a couple of weeks before your rent would begin at no additional cost if you seem cool. - Now the negatives: no pets, only 3 unrelated people can live here per Evanston’s housing laws (blame it on Evanston…not me), no more than 4 total residents, and non-smokers only. I have nothing against pets and really like dogs but I just don’t want a dog peeing on the new carpet. I also have nothing against smokers, but every time I’ve rented a home to a smoker, it comes back smelling like an ashtray and even if you tell me you will smoke outside, I know better because it gets damn cold in this city. This is not my first rodeo. I live only 7 minutes away so I can fix things when they break and I'm a pretty cool landlord. Call me to schedule a showing!
