Welcome Home! This isn't just your home, its a welcoming communal space. Our house is on Laura, close to Bradley, close to restaurants, and close to several bus routes. The neighborhood is safe. The neighbors are different in every house. But all have been welcoming. Some like to socialize. Others keep to themselves. Personally, I like to go for runs around the different blocks and parks. You'll find that there are many opportunities to relax and enjoy your free time. As to the house, while it is older construction (like most houses)- the original charm has been intentionally kept, but have updated all the mechanicals, including fiber optic and wifi internet in every room. The plumbing, electrical, and heating and air is all updated too! Parking is on the street, as well as in the driveway if you have a car. Plus, the house and your individual bedroom have electronic keyed doors. You'll never need to worry about lost keys! Also, its only one person per bedroom. So we're not trying to be sardines in a can. Hang out in the common room on the first floor, in the cooler basement common room, or in your furnished bedroom. The kitchen has all the fixings (fridge, stove, microwave, utensils, plates and bowls, pots, pans, etc). You'll have your own cabinet and shelf in the fridge to keep all food products. We do rotate the chores to keep the house feeling like a home you want to enjoy and share. Your bedroom is furnished with a bed, desk, chair, and wall-mounted tv with remote (and closet). Your bathroom with walk-in shower is shared with only one other housemate. So you'll have plenty of privacy. So here are the requirements to join the house for all housemates: you have never been evicted, nor have a criminal record. This is a smoke and vape-free home and property (no vaping or smoking out a window or on the porch or any other way of trying to not smoke "in the house." Absolutely no illicit substances. No guns unless its requisite for your employment. And as you read earlier, you'll do an equal amount of work in keeping the house clean. In order to move in, you'll need to do fill out an application, pass the background and credit check, and put down a move-in fee ($200), and two weeks' rent equaling a total of $535 prior to move-in. Your portion of all the utilities (water, gas, electric, fiber internet, garbage, etc) is included for $75 a month, so long as utilities are below $400 a month. (If you leave the window open and blast the heat and air conditioning at the same time, the utilities are higher...you're going to have to pay for that!) Your welcome to move in as soon as all the safety hoops are jumped through and the finances are paid! Can't wait to meet you! Immediately available, and no exceptions to what is written. no smoking/vaping in house. no illicit substances... this is for renting 1 bedroom with access to the rest of the common areas (kitchen, dining area, tv room, etc.)
This property is off market, which means it's not currently listed for sale or rent on Zillow. This may be different from what's available on other websites or public sources.
