This is an absolutely gorgeous Logan Square apartment that I am so sad to be leaving. First of all, the two bedrooms are gigantic. We used one as our bedroom, and it fit a bed, a bookshelf, two long dressers, a cat tree, and more. The other bedroom was used as a music room/reading nook. I mean, c'mon, look at that bay window and the crazy amount of natural sunlight coming in there. And the walk-in closet area was so cozy. Each bedroom has a very spacious closet. This apartment also had some of that nice vintage woodwork in the west-facing room as well as in the living room. All of the appliances were new when we moved in in Feb. 2017 and haven't ever broken. The heater was replaced a couple years ago. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a ton of cabinet space. And the bathroom has great water pressure and you can even change the showerhead settings. Even though the back patio is shared, this apartment basically has its own private corner. I loved gardening and was able to grow so much these past years because of the direct sunlight (see photos for past gardening endeavors). Shared laundry and dryer machines are in the basement. There is also a little storage unit down there for each unit as well as a bike rack. On top of how amazing the apartment is, I'm definitely going to miss the location the most. You are going to be mere steps away from Bang Bang Pie! And you're going to be a really short walk to the California Blue Line stop as well as that main stretch of Milwaukee Ave. And there are a ton of grocery stores in walking distance - Food Smart, Tony's, and Fresh Market. If you have a car, there is free street parking on California, Armitage, and Francis. The landlord is so great. Anytime there was an issue, all we had to do was email him and they were on it. So if you're looking for a dreamy two-bedroom in Logan Square, I think this is it. Tenant pays for gas, electricity, and internet. No security deposit, but $30 application fee and $400 move-in fee. Must have good credit and $30 for credit check.
