Located in a private neighborhood 8 miles outside of town, Aspen Lodge is a well appointed, cozy Tahoe mountain home. The home features 2,144 square feet of living space with the living areas all located on the same level, and a separate office downstairs. The kitchen is equipped with everything you will need for your Tahoe vacation with all dinnerware, cookware and utensils you will need for your friends and family. The kitchen features a peninsula with seating for three, perfect for a morning cup of coffee or an evening cocktail. Enjoy a family dinner at the dining table that can seat eight people comfortably. A sliding glass door leads you to the large exterior deck that hosts a propane BBQ and an outdoor dining set up. The kitchen and dining area open to the cozy living room. The living room has ample seating on multiple chairs and couches. When the temperatures drop, light the gas fireplace and warm up while watching a movie on the flat screen television. The upstairs living areas feel very spacious with this open layout and the high vaulted ceilings. The three bedrooms are located off of the living areas. The large master bedroom features a king sized bed, large dressing area, two full closets and a private en suite bathroom. The second bedroom features a king sized bed and a full closet, while the third bedroom has a king sized bed and full closet. The downstairs office has a queen bed and can function as a fourth bedroom. There is also additional sleeping on the queen sized pull-out sofa in the living room. This home takes advantage of the large lot, with features both kids and adults will love. For the kids, there is a custom play house with a slide outside and toys inside. For the adults, the private hot tub is located in a closed in gazebo. With high ceilings and windows on each wall, you feel like you are outside but have the privacy of an enclosed room. When staying in Aspen Lodge, you are only 8 miles from Heavenly Mountain, 11 miles from Sierra at Tahoe and 29 miles from Kirkwood Mountain. No matter which South Lake Tahoe ski resort is your favorite, you will not be too far. Fourteen minutes in a car will bring you in to our Heavenly Village. The Heavenly Village features many local restaurants, bars, shops and our local casinos. Our local movie theater, ice rink/min golf course and the Heavenly Gondola are also located in the Village. During the summer, there are many hiking and biking trails close to Aspen Lodge. Camp Richardson is only 15 minutes away, where you can swim in Lake Tahoe or rent a boat! Being close to Meyers, this home is also very close to the Lake Tahoe Golf Course and seconds away from the Tahoe Paradise Golf Course. Late fees are applied on the 5th. Utilities (gas and electric) are not included in price. For 6+ month rentals, utilities will be put in your name with the utility companies for the duration of your stay.
